Skills Ontology

A skills ontology models relationships between skills and other concepts, such as tasks, occupations or qualifications. Unlike a simple list, it can express how skills depend on or relate to one another.

Example

A system links data visualisation with chart selection, data preparation and analytical communication, helping users explore related learning or project opportunities.

What to keep in mind

Relationships are useful only if they are accurate for the context. Do not assume that possessing one related skill proves another, and review automated inferences before using them in employment decisions.
