Employee Net Promoter Score

Employee Net Promoter Score, or eNPS, measures willingness to recommend an employer. On a 0–10 scale, responses of 9–10 are promoters, 7–8 passives and 0–6 detractors; eNPS equals promoter percentage minus detractor percentage.

Example

Among 100 valid responses, 50 promoters, 30 passives and 20 detractors produce an eNPS of 50 minus 20, or +30. Passives remain in the denominator.

What to keep in mind

The score ranges from -100 to +100 and is reported as points. It is not India's National Pension System. Use comments and other evidence because one recommendation question does not explain the employee experience.
