Workforce KPIs

Workforce KPIs are key measures of staffing capacity, deployment, cost or results. They help assess whether the workforce can deliver the organisation's operating requirements.

Example

A service business monitors coverage of required skills, overtime and service response times together to understand whether staffing arrangements meet demand.

What to keep in mind

Explain the relationship between each measure and the objective. Reducing overtime can look positive while service deteriorates, so interpret workforce indicators alongside quality, safety and workload evidence.
