Time to Hire

Time to hire measures how long a candidate takes to move through recruitment, commonly from application or first contact to accepting an offer. The start event must be defined.

Example

A candidate applies on 3 June and accepts an offer on 18 June, giving 15 elapsed calendar days under an application-to-acceptance definition.

What to keep in mind

Time to hire differs from time to fill, which starts with the vacancy rather than the candidate. State whether you use calendar or working days and treat the same events consistently.
