Staffing Plan

A staffing plan sets out the people and capabilities needed to perform work over a defined period. It includes current resources, expected changes and actions to cover gaps.

Example

A project plan identifies required roles for each phase and shows whether they will be covered by existing staff, recruitment or external support.

What to keep in mind

Link staffing to actual work and timing. Availability does not guarantee the required skills, and planned capacity should allow for leave, training and other commitments rather than assuming full-time delivery.
