HR Effectiveness

HR effectiveness assesses whether HR activities achieve the outcomes they are intended to support. It focuses on results rather than simply the amount of activity performed.

Example

An onboarding programme is evaluated by new starters' understanding of their roles and readiness to work, not only by completion of induction sessions.

What to keep in mind

Choose evidence linked to the objective and recognise other influences. Better retention after a programme starts does not prove the programme caused the improvement without further analysis.
