Contractor Compliance

Contractor compliance checks whether external work arrangements meet applicable legal, contractual and workplace requirements. It can cover status, authorisation, safety, insurance, data access and payment controls.

Example

Before a contractor starts on site, an employer verifies required competence and safety arrangements and confirms who is responsible for supervision and incident reporting.

What to keep in mind

Requirements depend on the work and jurisdiction. Documentation should be proportionate and verified, and the client may retain obligations even when a contract assigns duties to a supplier.
